Sunflower Kitchen Hummus Is Yummus.

Mark your calendars, folks: March 23rd is National Chip and Dip Day! A much overlooked holiday, we think it’s an important one – especially if you have Sunflower Kitchen Hummus in the fridge.

If you’ve had Sunflower Kitchen Hummus, you’ll know how true a statement that is. If you haven’t, well, WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?!? True story: I used to make my own hummus until I tried SK’s Roasted Garlic and Onion Hummus. After that, I just gave up and gave in to the masters.

Sunflower Kitchen makes their products just down the road in Scarborough. Can’t get much more local than that! They’ve appeared on several episodes of Food Factory on the Food Network, and each appearance is drool-worthy. This family-run business is one of our favourites to work with, and they make some of our favourite foods!

You know it, you love it. Sunflower Kitchen Hummus is just magical. Whether you’re a fan of the Roasted Garlic & Onion (like me!) or have more Classic tastes, you just can’t go wrong.

Hummus +

If you live life a little more on the spicy side, they’ve got a hummus for that. Curry Lentil Hummus with Spicy Cilantro Chutney was an instant hit chez Moberly. It’s a challenge not to eat it with a spoon.

Soups

Speaking of things you can eat with a spoon (I’m embarrassingly proud of that segue), Sunflower Kitchen also makes incredible soups. Ready to heat and eat, they’re a great antidote to the lingering winter.

Pesto

Perfect on pasta, or anywhere else you use pesto, Sunflower Kitchen are no slouches in this department, either. Choose from Basil, Kale & Oregano, or Zesto Pesto to make your meal memorable.

Salsa

Newest to us are Sunflower Kitchen Salsas. If you’ve never had a fresh salsa before, do yourself a favour and try this one. Funnily enough, it’s another perfect dip to pair with a chip!
