People often ask if we carry a natural Febreeze alternative. Technically, no. But we do carry (almost) all the necessary ingredients to make your own fabric spray. So, with just a quick stop at Moberly, (and one at the liquor store), you’ll have everything you need to keep your fabrics smelling sweet, without all the harmful additives you’ll find in the name brand stuff.
DIY Natural Fabric Spray
What You’ll Need
- A Spray Bottle
- 1 Tbsp Baking Soda
- 1 cup Warm Water
- 1/2 cup Vodka
- 10 drops of Essential Oil (one scent, or a mix!)
Directions
Dissolve the baking soda in warm water. Pour into a spray bottle, add the vodka, and shake. Select your essential oils of choice. If you’re looking for added disinfectant power, try one (or a combination) of these essential oils. If you just want things to smell nice, choose your favourite scents!
Lavender is great for relaxation (think bedroom), and citrus scents are nice energy-boosters. If you’re prone to headaches, consider trying peppermint.
